What’s the second-best thing (or first, depending on who you’re talking to!) about the Super Bowl? The food!
We’re adding Superlina Spirulina Hummus to our game-day spread this year and paired with your favorite gluten-free chips, you’ve got a healthy, plant-based snack!
Serves 3-4 people
Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can Chickpeas
2 medium cloves Garlic
1 Lemon (2-3 tablespoons)
1/3 cup Tahini
2 tbsp olive oil
3/4 tsp Sea salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp Superlina Spirulina Powder
2 tbsp Water
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and puree for 3-4 minutes, pausing halfway to scrape down the sides of the bowl, and add additional water or olive oil if it seems too thick.
Puree until smooth.
Taste and add additional cumin, salt, or lemon juice as needed.
Top with optional pine nuts and serve with your favorite chips!
